Texas Christian University was recognized by the Texas Legislature in honor of the university鈥檚 Sesquicentennial. TCU President Daniel Pullin was joined by SGA President Brandon Fox and fourth-year Burnett School of Medicine student Kavneet Kaur, Deputy Athletics Director Mike Sinquefield and, of course, SuperFrog, to represent the Horned Frogs.
鈥淲HEREAS, Through the years, TCU has gained a reputation for academic excellence, strong traditions, a vibrant student experience, campus culture, and Greek life, and ardent support for student-athletes, who have achieved high recognition,鈥 reads an excerpt of the resolution announced on the House and Senate floors (full resolution below).
The recognition was given to TCU with the support of State Sens. Phil King and Lois Kolkhorst and Reps. Craig Goldman and Charlie Geren.
